Philippe Coutinho is beginning to see a future away from Barcelona, as per multiple reports in Spanish media (h/t Mundo Deportivo).
Coutinho has fallen down the midfield and forwards pecking order at Barcelona behind Gavi, Abde and Dembele. It’s a situation that has seen him start just one of Barca’s last 8 games.
Coutinho also wants to leave for regular game time, to improve his chances of playing at the World Cup in 2022.
The Brazilian is the highest earner at Barca, and the club is desperate to cut him loose to allow space in their salary cap for Ferran Torres and other new signings.
Arsenal, Newcastle and recently Everton are the clubs showing interest in signing the 29-year-old.
