The equaliser came in the 82nd minute set up by Nketiah and converted on the turn from close range by Pepe.
Alex Lacazette forced the winner past Jose Sa in the fifth minute of stoppage time to complete Arsenal’s late fightback and fire hope of a return the Champions League.
