Bandits Killed 5 Farmers In Zamfara Community

A village known as Barkeji in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State Nigeria was attacked by bandits who killed five farmers.

The farmers were killed during an attack at the village which is situated at the Northwestern part of Kaura Namoda the second largest city of the state, at a distance of lest than five kilometers away from the local government headquarters.

An eyewitness and resident of the village said the bandits arrived the village and started shooting sporadically, during which they killed 5 residents and left one in a critical condition.

According to him, the injured person was rushed to hospital and is receiving treatment in the state, while others are mourning the deceased.

The state Police Public Relation Officer couldn’t be reached as at time of filling this report to confirm the incident.
