Ex-Chelsea and Nigerian International player retires from football

Football is an incredible sports that gives its spectators fun and recreation in their leisure time and not only is it a sports, football is now a culture. A lot of wonderful and amazing players have graced the fields some of which are generational talents but as the saying goes “there is time for everything” Which means we gradually have to see our legendary players hang the boot.

John Mikel obi is Chelsea’s former pro defensive midfielder who has written his name in the clubs book after his controversial last minute transfer ditch that would have seen him make it to the other side, nevertheless he landed at Stamford Bridge and had an amazing career.

The 35 year captained the Nigerian super Eagle’s to various tournaments and has shown superior leadership qualities.
