The Jigawa state governor Alhaji Umar Namadi has sworn in 16 new commissioners with their portfolios as screened by the state Assembly.
Speaking during the swearing in held at government house Dutse, governor Namadi, charged new commissioners to work hard and deliver his twelve points agenda for the state.
He also urged the new commissioners to be visiting field work and ensure everything is going in a right way, not just sitting at office.
The newly appointed commissioners with their portfolio include Ibrahim Babangida Umar ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Prof. Hannatu Sabo Muhammad ministry of Finance and Dr. Muhammad Abdullahi Kainuwa assigned to ministry of Health.

The governor also assigned Aminu Kanta to ministry of Commerce, Ahmed Garba MK ministry for Local Government, Ibrahim Garba Hannun Giwa, ministry of Water Resources and Dr. Lawan Yunusa Danzomo ministry of Basic Education.

ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Sagir Musa Ahmed ministry of Information, Youth, Sports and Culture, Hadiza Abdulwahab
ministry of Women Affairs and Col. muhammad Alhassan (rtd) assigned to ministry of Lands and Regional Planning.
While Dr. Nura Ibrahim Dandoka assigned to
ministry of Environment, Engr. Gambo Shu’aibu Mallam — Ministry of Works, Auwal Danladi Sankara
ministry of Special Duties, Musa Adamu Aliyu ministry of Justice and Muttaka Namadi ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
