Two security operatives have been killed in a fresh Boko Haram attack at Yunusari Local Government of Yobe State.

A source from neighboring Geidam, another local government, told our reporter anonymously that the terrorists staged an ambush, killing two of and injuring four others.

They are operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, during a joint operation with National Drug and Law Enforcement Agency.

Contrary to reports in other platforms saying it took place in Geidam, our reporter learned that it was in Unguwan Gada, which is under Yunusari.

‘They killed men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps and that of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency who are out for border patrol.

‘They (the terrorists) tried to escape with the security operatives vehicles but they were chased away by military operatives,’ the source said.
