In his 100 days in office, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, Borno has executed 77 project across the state.
Mallam Tijjani Bukar, secretary to Borno State Government who disclosed this on Monday said the projects straddle across several sectors
He said they were all carried out from May 29 to September 6, 2023, marking the governor’s 100 days in office.
Ten of the projects are in the educational sector. Some of these are a mega-school at Alakaramti Community, a primary school at Gamboru and a government day secondary school located also at Gamboru, which is now named after Late Usman Jidda Shuwa, former Secretary to the State Government.
Others are Shuwari II Primary School, which was built with 20 classrooms, a staff quarters and other facilities.
They were commissioned on Friday by Sen. Kashim Shettima, Vice President of Nigeria.
Other projects are spread across healthcare, security, roads and empowerment.
In his first administration, the governor commissioned over 100 projects within the first 100 days of his inauguration.
