Oleksandr Usyk has is not relenting in defending his titles as he has beaten Anthony Joshua for a second time and retain the WBA, IBF, IBO & WBO Heavyweight belts.

Anthony Joshua on the Other hand  was determined to improve from their first encounter and overturn his defeat to victory as he once again took the unbeaten Ukrainian the distance. But Usyk’s ring craft just proved too much for Joshua as he emerged victorious for the second time on points after taking a split decision.

The first judge gave a points of 115-113 for Usyk-Joshua, the second took turn of 113-115, and the third 116-112 seeing Oleksandr emerging the winner on slight difference.

It never did change anything for Anthony Joshua even after having a good game and some tactical display. The WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO world titles remain in Usyk’s hands and he takes the Ring Magazine strap too.

Joshua (32-year-Old) must now rebuild having suffered his 3rd career defeat, while Usyk (35-year-old) remains unbeaten and will be seeking a unification fight with Tyson Fury, despite the WBC champion’s recent retirement announcement.
