It is an undeniable fact that PDP in Yobe is a political lightweight that cannot even provide a strong opposition to the ruling APC let alone win any election in the State.
Most of those who recently defected to PDP in Yobe are political neophytes who cannot win councillorship elections in their respective wards against the APC.
These are green horns whose clout will at best fetch them temporary recognition.
Those celebrating the much-needed exit of some politicians from the APC including a former Gubernatorial aspirant who got 4 votes during the primary election may be unaware of the fact that Gov. Mai Mala Buni has decimated opposition parties in Yobe State.
People should rather celebrate the defection of some political heavyweight who decamped to APC under Gov. Mai Mala Buni including a sitting member of the Yobe State House of Assembly.
