The governor also restated the resolve of his government to carry out a justice sector reform agenda to be unfolded soon.

“My administration is determined to upgrade all the facilities in the Osun State Judiciary.

“As a step towards enhancing their efficiency and productivity, we will in no distant time introduce Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to the State Judiciary for speedy administration and dispensation of justice,” he stated.

The governor, who described the judiciary as sine qua non to the socioeconomic, political and democratic sustainability of any society, added that his administration will ensure the independence of the sector in carrying out its day to day functions and responsibilities.

“This is to ensure that they offer efficient services that will deliver our development agenda without compromising their individual responsibilities.

“Judiciary is an important arm of government; the last hope of the common man and the face of the presence of rule of law in a polity.

“It is our hope that with these appointments, the interest of justice will be better served in the State.

“Our administration will continue to offer improved welfare packages to the judiciary and give it an enabling environment to discharge its services with unblemished integrity,” he stated.
