A stalwart of the APC in Taraba State Ambassador Musa Muhammed Tsoken has enumerated the expectations of Nigerians on the President elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and from Nigerians when the new administration comes to power.
Ambassador Musa Tsoken who made this known in Jalingo thanked God for the APC victory in the presidential, Gubernatarial, National and State Assembly Elections and equally thanked God for bringing back the President elect Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu home safely from his sojourn abroad.
The APC henchman said although people worked across board, put in their resources, time and energy believing in the president because they know his capacity that he will perform and deliver but called on the attention of such people not to concentrate on the issues of sharing values now that the swearing in is fast approaching when people are clamoring for positions and requested them to be more proactive by adding value to the new Government and not to concentrate on only what they will get.
On his expectations on the President elect, Ambassador Musa Tsoken said if he assumes office, Ahmed Bola Tinubu should immediately look into the challenges facing the nation based on his precedents and ideology to bring changes in the lives of the people the issues of insecurity, infrastructural development, Education, Health, Agriculture etc.
He expects the new President to gather professionals to help him deliver devidents of democracy to Nigerians as he has the capacity and all it takes to select the best the way he selected his Vice Kashim Shatima.
Ambassador Tsoken particularly sited George Akume, Ahmed El-Rufa,i and other outgoing Governors, Senators, Members House of Representatives and other professionals as the calibre of persons the president could form his cabinet from who are well experienced to rally round him for Nigerians to record the best administration they never had in the history of the nation but however faulted the suggestion by an individual for the appointment of Barnabas Gamade as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation arguing that there are more capable hands to handle the office.
He also called on Nigerians individuals, Corporate Organizations, Government and Non-Governmental organizations to support the President to enable him succeed.
Coming back to Taraba State, the APC stalwart said elections have come and gone it is not time for fighting the people must come together and do what is the best for the State.
He maintained that he cannot out rightly say Governor Darius Ishaku did not do anything in his eight years’ tenure in Taraba State but in reality his performance was far beyond expectations considering his antecedents as an Architect and a Minister.
He said what is crippling Taraba State is religious bigotry, ethnicity, regionalism which is retarding progress and urged the incoming Government to ran an all-inclusive administration for the benefit of all.
