The lawmaker thanked members of the House for giving him an opportunity to serve as speaker of the House for a period of four years.

He also applauded the efforts of the legislative staff for giving him the maximum support and cooperation and urged them to give the incoming 8th Assembly the same cooperation for the development of the state

In their separate remarks, the Deputy Speaker of the House, Mohammed Isa Bello; House Leader, Bukar Mustapha; Chief Whip, Buba Ibrahim Kalallawa and Bulama Bukar commended the outgoing speaker of the 7th Assembly Rt.
