PDP scores the highest votes in Saturday’s Presidential election in Taraba State

Candidate of the people’s Democratic party PDP, Atiku Abubakar has scored the highest votes in the presidential election conducted on Saturday in Taraba State.

Atiku Abubakar polled 189,017 against the Labour Party LP that came second with 146,315 votes and the APC in third position with 135,165 votes. The NNPP got 12,818 and SDP scored 4000 votes.

 

Taraba State has 1,941,549 registered voters out of which 521,442 were accridited during the Presidential election. Total votes cast was 517,818 and valid votes stood at 499,358 while 18,460 votes were rejected.
